Indian head coach Rahul Dravid spoke at the special event and praised Kohli for his achievement. He also said that he had learned a lot from the 34-year-old during his time as a teacher.
Team India won the first Test match in Dominica, which was part of the series. The team led by Rohit Sharma is currently up 1-0 in the two-game series. In the first game, Virat made 76 runs off 182 balls, which helped the Indian team win by an innings and 141 runs.
Rahul Dravid: Kohli’s numbers tell a story on their own
Dravid said, “His numbers and stats speak for themselves; it’s all in the book.” There’s no need for you to say anything. By how he acts, how he practices, and how fit he is, [he] becomes an example for many young players coming up through the system. They should follow it, and hopefully Virat will motivate them to play so many games.
