After India beat the West Indies in a series, bowling coach Paras Mhambrey said that Bumrah is missed.
IND vs. WI: India and the West Indies played a match in Dominica, and the hosts won by 141 runs and an innings, which was a huge win. After this win, the team’s bowling coach, Paras Mahambre, talked to Jasprit Bumrah and the other bowlers about how to handle their work loads. The boss says that the team has missed Bumrah a lot in the last year and a half. Bumrah has been out of action since September of last year because of a stress fracture in his lower back. He is India’s most important bowler in all formats.
He didn’t play in the T20 World Cup or the World Test Championship final, and this was clear when looking at how well Indian bowlers did. Mhambrey thinks that India will soon start talking about switching bowlers to build up their bench strength in all types of cricket that they play.
We missed Bumrah over the past year and a half—Bowling coach
After India beat the West Indies by an innings and 141 runs, the bowling coach said, “If we look at the last year and a half, Bumrah is the player we’ve lost the most. No one has talked about who will play with a white ball and who will play with a red ball yet, but we need to give each player a break in the future. When we give a bowler a break, we’ll bring in another bowler to make the bench stronger.
Bowling teacher says that Mukesh Kumar will make bowling stronger.
Paras Mhambrey has already said that Mukesh Kumar, a fast bowler from Bengal, could be part of India’s fast bowling attack in Tests. Even though Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, and Jasprit Bumrah seem to be the best options when they are healthy, Mhambrey thinks Mukesh could be brought in to add more speed options.
In response, the bowling teacher said, “This is a chance for me to work with Mukesh and strengthen the bench.” We already have Siraj, who is a good bowler, Shami, and Bumrah, and we need to build up our bench strength. Mukesh can sit and talk with the people here and learn a lot from them. A lot of experienced players are here to talk to him.
