T20 World Cup 2024: The troubles of Pakistan cricket team are not showing any signs of ending. Now before the T20 World Cup 2024, the Pakistan team has suffered a big blow. These days Pakistan team is looking for a new head coach. In whose race, the name of former Australian cricketer Shane Watson was first. There were talks between Watson and PCB officials regarding this but later Watson rejected the PCB’s offer. After which now another former veteran cricketer has refused to become the head coach of the Pakistan team.
Now this veteran rejected PCB offer
Since the ODI World Cup 2023, Pakistan team is playing without a head coach, although Mohammad Hafeez was made the director as well as coach of the team but later Hafeez also resigned. After Shane Watson, former West Indies captain Darren Sammy was also involved in this race. Pakistan wanted Sammy to be the head coach of the team. According to media reports, Sammy has refused to become the head coach of the Pakistan team. Sammy says that he is already the head coach of the West Indies limited overs team.

Watson had rejected PCB offer for this reason
Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson was almost ready to become the head coach of the Pakistan team. Actually, there was a discussion regarding this between Watson and PCB officials during PSL 2024. Watson had placed a demand of 2 million dollars before the PCB for this.
To which PCB had given yes but later the conversation between Watson and PCB officials was leaked to the media. Due to which Watson was unhappy and he again refused to become the head coach of the Pakistan team. Watson will now be seen commentating in IPL 2024 starting from March 22 in India.
