The Pakistan Cricket Board is awaiting the approval of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) regarding Team India’s tour of Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. According to media reports, Pakistan Cricket Board President Mohsin Naqvi can participate in the ICC meeting to be held in Dubai next week. In this ICC meeting, Mobsin Naqvi can discuss the approval with BCCI Secretary Jai Shah.

In fact, due to security concerns and without the permission of the Government of India, BCCI can never send Team India to tour Pakistan. Earlier, the hosting of Asia Cup 2023 has also been snatched from Pakistan because BCCI had banned Team India’s tour to Pakistan. Due to which some matches of Asia Cup 2023 were played in Pakistan and some matches in Sri Lanka.

Team India played all its matches in the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka. BCCI sources believe that the Indian cricket team’s tour of Pakistan is completely dependent on the Indian government. Now it remains to be seen what decision is taken in the ICC meeting?
