Who will be on leave

If we talk about leave, Devdutt Padikkal may get a chance in the team in place of Rajat Patidar who is continuously flopping. Hindustan Times, citing BCCI in one of its reports, said that Devdutt Padikkal will debut in the fifth test. The management now wants to see him in the last match before the IPL. Whereas Rahul will not be present even for the last match. In such a situation, Rajat Patidar will remain in the Test squad but he will not get a chance.

Rajat Patidar has disappointed so far. He played three matches and was able to cross the 30 mark only once. He scored 9,32, 0,5 and 17 runs in five innings. After scoring only 63 runs in five innings, Patidar’s retirement is now considered almost certain. Padikkal can debut in his place. Whereas Jasprit Bumrah can return in the fifth match and Siraj can be rested once again. If Padikkal debuts, he can become India’s 314th Test player.

Sarfaraz Khan will get another chance

Sarfaraz Khan made his debut in the Rajkot Test and in the first match itself scored 130 runs with the help of a half-century in two innings. Then in Ranchi, his bat scored 14 and 0 runs in both the innings. Then questions arose, but it is considered certain that he will get another chance in the Dharamshala Test. He has flopped in only one match and his talent cannot be gauged from one match. After the Ranchi Test, captain Rohit Sharma had also made it clear that we will give a chance to the players who have the hunger to play Test cricket. In such a situation, Sarfaraz may get another chance.
