ODI WORLD CUP IND VS AUS: This year, the ICC has announced the plan for the ODI World Cup 2023, which will be held in India. The World Cup, or Mahakumbh, of cricket will start on October 5 and end on November 19. The World Cup has kept November 20 as a backup date for both the semi-finals and the final. India will be the first country to host the Australian cricket team in this event. On October 8, both sides will face each other.

  • 8 October Australia vs India (Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai)
  • Australia vs. South Africa, October 13, Ekana Stadium, Lucknow.
  • Australia vs. Qualifier 2 (Ekana Stadium, Oct. 16)
  • 20 October, Australia vs Pakistan, (M Chinnaswamy, Bengaluru)
  • 25 October: Australia plays the first qualifier at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
  • Australia takes on New Zealand on October 28 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Stadium in Dharamshala.
  • November 4, Australia vs England (Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, Ahmedabad)
  • 7 November Australia v Afghanistan (Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai)
  • Australia vs. Bangladesh on November 12 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

46 days will pass during ODI World Cup 2023

The ODI World Cup in 2023 will take place in India for 46 days. There will be 48 matches, plus three final rounds. India is the first country to ever host the whole World Cup. India and its neighbors have put on this big event in the past.

The ODI World Cup will include 10 teams

The 2023 ODI World Cup will have a number of ten teams. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, and England all qualified automatically. The last two teams will come from the round of trials.
