SL Vs AFG: Sri Lankan captain Wanindu Hasaranga clashed with the umpire over the no-ball controversy in the last over of the third T20 match. Hasaranga told the umpire to find another job.
New Delhi: Sri Lanka T20 team captain Wanindu Hasaranga has now come into the limelight due to his dispute with the umpire. Actually, these days a T20 series is being played between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. In the third match of the series, Hasaranga clashed with the umpire over a no-ball dispute. During the match, umpire Lindon Hannibal, standing at square leg, had decided not to give a no-ball to a ball above the waist of Sri Lankan batsman Kamindu Mendis. On which Hasaranga got angry and during this he said something to the umpire which is now going viral very fast.
Hasaranga said β Umpire is not suitable in international cricket
During the match, when Kamindu Mendis was batting for Sri Lanka, a ball of low height was bowled by the bowler in that over. Which the umpire did not declare as a no-ball. Regarding this, Wanindu Hasaranga said that such things should not happen in international cricket. If the ball was below waist height then there was no problem but if the ball was higher and no-ball is not given then that umpire is not suitable for international cricket. It would have been much better if he had done something else.
