T20 series about take place between Pakistan and New Zealand for which PCB has released team squad

Pakistan Team: The Pakistan team has been announced today for the T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand. Babar Azam will once again be seen captaining the Pakistan team.

Pakistan Team: Before the T20 World Cup, Pakistan team is going to play a series with New Zealand. Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the team for this T20 series today. Babar Azam has once again taken the captaincy of the Pakistan team. Shaheen Afridi was already removed from the captaincy of white ball cricket. After which Babar Azam will once again be seen captaining.

Mohammad Aamir and Imad Wasim returned

Mohammad Aamir and Imad Wasim had withdrawn their retirement a few days ago. After which both these players had declared themselves available for the T20 World Cup 2024. Whereas fast bowler Haris Rauf is not present for this series. Actually, Haris Rauf had suffered a shoulder injury during the Pakistan Super League. Haris’ injury has not healed yet.

Pakistan cricket team manager Wahab Riaz, on the return of Mohammad Amir and Haris Rauf, said that the decision to include Imad Wasim and Mohammad Aamir was straightforward considering their availability for selection and Haris Rauf’s injury and Mohammad Nawaz’s current form. Both Aamir and Imad have match-winning ability and we are confident that they will deliver consistent strong performances to achieve the team’s objectives.
